General
A: With About My League, managing and maintaining a league becomes a team effort, reducing the amount of work one individual has to perform. With different levels of administration, you can assign responsibilities to other individuals to distribute the workload.

A: About My League doesn't place limits on how many teams can be in a league, although a league is restricted to one sport and one set of standings.

A: No, there isn't a minimum number of teams required to use the service, although it will certainly make for a better league if you have at least two teams to play against each other!

A: When you are ready to begin a new season, you can archive the past season. The game and standings information is archived, but all of your other information stays active so you won't be reentering the same data each year.

A: Yes, About My League offers multiple user types with varying levels of administrative permissions.

A: As a general rule, any sport where one team plays another and the game results in a win/loss/tie can use About My League. This includes soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, football, ice hockey, field hockey, rugby, lacrosse, kickball, dodgeball, etc.

A: About My League is not intended for fantasy leagues.

A: Yes, each team has its own complimentary web page with that team's schedule and results, announcements, division standing, etc. We'll soon be adding the ability for each team to upload a team photo or logo and a team biography.

A: About My League is designed and intended for you to distribute the workload of administering a sports league. That being said, if you really want us to create and maintain your league's site for you please contact us to discuss the specifics of your league and we'll give you an estimate.

Pricing/Refunds
A: About My League costs $239 per league per year, with a one-time 30-day free trial per league.

A: Once you sign up for your free trial, you'll have 30 days to return to your account and pay for a subscription via credit card thru PayPal (you do NOT need a PayPal account). We'll send you an email reminder to provide this information with seven days left in your trial.

A: We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) through PayPal secure credit card processing (you do NOT need a PayPal account). To arrange an alternative payment method, please contact us.

A: We prefer to accept payment for the entire year at one time. However, if you have special circumstances and need to arrange an alternative payment plan, please contact us.

A: We offer a no questions asked cancellation policy. The Account Holder must go into the account settings and click on the cancellation link. All account information will be immediately and irretrievably deleted from the system and a pro-rated refund will be issued within 30 days of cancellation.

A: As long as you are paying for your site, your account remains active. If you cancel your account because your league is out of season, all of the information associated with the account will be immediately deleted.

Scoring/Standings
A: About My League offers winning percentage, points, and games back to automatically calculate each team's standing.

A: If two or more teams in any division have the same rank (based on your league's standings method), About My League makes the following comparisons to try to break the tie:
- Head-to-head win percentage
- Head-to-head point differential
- Total wins
- Total point differential
If two or more teams still come out even, About My League displays a tie in the standings.

Technology
A: About My League works with all current versions of Internet Explorer (6.0), Safari (2.0), and Firefox (1.5), and there are no special system requirements.

A: Our scheduled downtime is less than an hour a week while we move new features and enhancements from our development server to the live server. As with any internet service there are a host of variables that could lead to unscheduled downtime.

A: Yes, you can point your domain to your new About My League site.

A: Yes. In addition to the URL provided with your About My League account, you can purchase a separate URL to point to your About My League site. We recommend using Network Solutions
to purchase your new URL.
Once you have purchased your new URL, the Account Holder can point it to your About My League site. Instructions can be found by clicking the Settings link in the upper right corner of your league's site and then clicking the Domain Settings link.
